Measurement Considerations
1) Target reflectivity
Generally speaking, the higher the reflectivity of the objects, the better the ranging distance. For example, for moderately reflective objects, the measuring range is 1500M, and it can up to 1800M for high reflectivity object, but effective range may be reduced to only 600M for low.
2) Target shape
When a target is too small or uneven, the measurable range and accuracy will decrease.
3) Measuring angle
Considering the line which divides both lenses of the device as the “vertical axis”, measurement is best done when a narrow target is parallel to that axis.
Troubleshooting
Q: How do you change from meters to yards?
A: The default measurement unit is yards, In the boot state, please long press the mode button about 3 seconds to change it.
Q: I don′t want to use the slope function, how to turn
off?
A: You can switch slope switch from right to left to turn off.
Q: Can′t hold charge or it is too hot to charge?
A: 1) As the product doesn't come with power adapter, please use over 5V/0.8A adapter（like mobile phone adapter, power bank), it is very important, the device may not be charged normally if the adapter is incorrectly.
2) It happens if the supplied USB cable was faulty, please give it a try after you change another USB cable.
